Born in Pennsylvania but raised in Prague, Czech Republic, Winter Ave Zoli began her acting career at age 13. When she was 17 Winter attended the Carnegie-Mellon summer school theater program, and two years later the beautiful brunette enrolled in the Atlantic Theater Company acting school founded by David Mamet and William H. Macy. She first appeared on screen via the BBC series The Scarlet Pimpernel, which ran from 1999 to 2000.
